I enjoy most of the ads that Apple puts out, and a recent one, “Off the Air” was no exception. It had a line that gave me pause: PC guy said “fear of switching is the foundation of customer loyalty for PCs.” I wonder how much truth there is in it.
There are many valid reasons to change or not to change. But in all of my own observations, fear seems to be pretty consistent as the number one reason not to change in any situation. What has your experience been?

Peter,
I agree. Fear of the unknown keeps people from making nearly all major decisions in life. I learned of ‘upsetting the status quo’ as the reason the reason most people will stay in an unhealthy emotional situation for years. It seems that probably applies to our current political situation in the US.
as we’ve mentioned in a previous conversation, Peter. .change is a mark of leaders who have courage to take on the unexpected, and/or people who have no other choice. in those cases, changes, is forced upon them by natural disasters, health problems, death of someone else, or even corporate management– even to the point of making changes in technology.
