* 1-800-GOOG-411 graduates from Google Labs. I originally mentioned the service back in April. Considering the standard charges for calling 411 from a cell phone this free service is a welcome offering.
* 92 web applications created in 48 hours. “First place went to TastyPlanner – A rather simple recipe sharing site. Second place to Checkbook – An online checking account management app.” and “Third place to Admiteer – Event management and ticket sales.” All applications were (naturally) created with Ruby on Rails.
